Run Cancer into the Ground

Why We Formed a Relay For Life Fundraising Team

Cancer continues to affect the lives of everyday people here in Southeastern, NC All of us know someone that has been touched by Cancer - a family member, a neighbor, someone at work or a friend and maybe even a fellow runner. The American Cancer Society's goal is to have more people survive cancer so they can celebrate another birthday. For the last 5 years our local runners have participated in the ACS Relay for Life and have successfully raised over $38,000. Our goal for 2017 is to raise over $15,000 - Sapphire Team Level.

As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. At our Relay event, we will take turns running around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission. We will run for those cancer victims that can't. We want to support and show those fighting cancer to keep fighting.

Please join our team or make a donation. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, one dollar at a time. How many laps or miles will you run to show your support for someone fighting cancer - help us make a difference in the lives of others. Thanks
