Welcome to the CAM Relay for LIfe Homepage!

This year, we invite you to celebrate more birthdays, because a world with more birthdays, means a world with less cancer.  We want you to show us what your ideal birthday party would look like!

The holiday season season is a great time to start raising money for Relay!  When you're with your family and friends, tell them about Relay for Life and ask them to donate.  Just a little bit can go a very long way!

Come join us for our next Team Captain meeting on Thursday, January 21 at 7pm at First United Methodist Church in downtown Cary.  If your team raises $1000 by this date, your team name will be on our participant t-shirts!  We look forward to seeing you there!

Why We Relay

Be the first to share the reason YOU Relay and inspire others in the fight against cancer.  If you're a cancer survivor or caregiver to someone who has/had cancer, sharing your story can help inspire others going through similar circumstances.  If you're not a survivor or caregiver, maybe you participate to give back to our community or in honor of a friend or family member.  Either way, we want to hear YOUR story!  Please email casey.little@cancer.org to have your story highlighted here!

Luminaria

One important aspect of the Relay For Life is the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. As the sun sets over campsites and darkness falls, the night is brightened by the glow of illuminated bags called Luminaria, each bearing the name of someone who has battled cancer.

Fundraising Clubs

All Star Teams - Teams who raise at least $150 per registered team member qualify as a South Atlantic Division Relay For Life All Star Team. All Star levels range from $150 average per team member to over $3,333 per team member! Set a goal for your team and get started recruiting your team members and planning those fundraisers now!

Grand Club - Participants who individually raise $1,000 or more receive membership into the South Atlantic Division Relay For Life Grand Club, our elite club of individuals leading the way in the fight against cancer. Grand Club members will receive a limited edition Relay For Life Grand Club polo shirt as well as recognition at your Relay For Life event. And, what could be better than helping create a world with more birthdays by being a fundraising leader for your Relay For Life?!
