Cancer Prevention Study 3 (CPS-3)

This year, selected Relay events in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!

Get Involved

Enrollments will be taking place over the next five years in various additional states and locations. Please check back often for updated location information.
There are multiple ways in which you can get involved, such as through:

• Enrollment: Individuals who are between the ages of 30-65, who have never been diagnosed with cancer, and are willing to commit to the study long term, can enroll at Relay For Life (Individuals who choose to enroll do not have to be registered Relay team participants.)
• Volunteering: Volunteers are needed to help with the enrollment area at the Relay For Life events.
  Promotion: Tell everyone you know about this one-time historic opportunity to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
• Education: Tell friends and family around the country to visit www.cancer.org/cps3 or call 888-604-5888 to obtain more information about this study and how they can become involved in their own local community. Individuals who are between the ages of 30-65, who have never been diagnosed with cancer, and are willing to commit to the study long term, can enroll at Relay For Life (Individuals who choose to enroll do not have to be registered Relay team participants.)
