My Reason to Relay

I'm participating in Relay this year in honor of my mother, Shelagh, who has just finished chemo & radiation treatment for breast cancer.  Over the past year, I've felt so far apart from her, because she's in Australia, and I've felt so helpless here in the US.

I want her to know that although I can't be with her right now, I think of her often, and participating in Relay in her honor is my own way of saying "I'm here in spirit, Mum".  I love you!
