Tim Touched Us All

When Tim Cuprisin died of melanoma on Nov. 23, 2011, we were all so surprised. We knew it was coming, but not so soon.

Tim, OnMilwaukee's Media Columnist, worked until the very end, an inspiration to friends, family and co-workers. When he passed away, we dedicated the "Tim Cuprisin Memorial Newsroom" in the office where he worked.

Tim was an inspiration, a mentor and a friend.

Now, several months later, we dedicate "OnMilwaukee Skin Cancer Awareness Week" in his memory.

Please Give

Tim didn't like the extra attention he received when he was diagnosed with cancer, and while he didn't hide his disease, he didn't let it define him, either. Now, the team that still misses him so dearly, has organized this memorial fund to raise funds to beat skin cancer. Please donate what you can in support of the memory of our friend and colleague.

Skin Cancer Awareness Week

All week long, http://OnMilwaukee.com will showcase survivor stories and more in the fight to beat skin cancer. Please read these tales and find inspiration in the memory of Tim. Together, we can help make skin cancer a disease of the past.

Tim's humor and insight are, indeed, greatly missed by all who enjoyed his work at the Journal Sentinel and OnMilwaukee.com. My uncle died of melanoma in 2009 so it is also in his memory that our donation is made.
Ripose im pace, Tim.
