RELAYER OF THE WEEK:

ANN BRADLEY

In three years, I had three people close to me receive the diagnosis of cancer. First, my mentor, Don Nelson, was diagnosed with stage four cancer. He kept a positive attitude through his battle. He passed away and three months later my step-mom was diagnosed with breast, bone, lung, and liver cancer. She fought hard but sadly passed away two years ago, May. I was devastated to lose two people who helped make me who I am to this deadly disease. Last year my student, Sofia Carlo, was diagnosed with cancer and spent the year in Texas receivng treatment. Sofia fought hard and she is now cancer free. I love all three of these people and want to honor their strength, courage, and positive attitude. My twenty fours is nothing compared to their strength.

Relayer of the Week Contest:

Every week we will select a new "Relayer of the Week" to be featured on our homepage for the entire week with a link to your fundraising page. (You never know you may generate some extra donations from the exposure!) Our Winners will also be announced and recognized at the next Team Rally meeting with a great prize!

All you have to do to be elligible is to personalize your fundraising page. Purchase a Luminaria! Through our dramatic luminaria ceremony, we remember those we've lost to cancer, encourage those now fighting, and celebrate survivors. Decorate your luminaria to personally honor a loved one.
