Heroes are important in a cancer journey. This year we will be honoring those who give us hope! Whether it's family, friends, role models, celebrities, or famous superheros -everyone provides hope to those who have been diagnosed and to those who will be diagnosed in our lifetime.

There will be $5 Admission, Summer sugar on snow by Coutures Maple (extra fee that will be split between Coutures and Camo therapy) BINGO (half of proceeds will be for the team other will be the prize) Pot Luck Dinner (If you want to eat but didn't bring anything there will be plates for sale!) Bake Sale, Lumineria decorating center, Gold Prospecting, Bobbin Mill Players, Bonfire with S'mores. ALL DAY EVENT!!! *** Owner of Barrewood Terrie Davis-Perry 's brother was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, and she is giving 100% of that nights profits from camping to his family for medical expenses, so if you stay the night as well, you will be helping a fighter!!!***

THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
