The journey to end cancer starts with a single step. The American Cancer Society invites you to take that step with us by joining the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.

All meetings are held at the East Smithfield Library, 50 Esmond Street, Smithfield RI

Team meetings scheduled 6 PM - 7 PM All team members are invited to team meetings

Planning meetings scheduled 7 PM - 8 PM Anyone interested in planning our June event is welcome at anytime

5:30 PM - 6 PM are open to anyone that is interested in one-on-one meetings with the co-chairs (Jannie and Michelle) for coaching or other items

J&D's Restaurant Fundraiser - Thursday, May 23, 2013 - 5:00p.m

J&D's Restaurant will be holding an evening to help Kerri Rogers and the Shooting Stars of the Smithfield Relay for Life fundraise to help kick cancers butt. The restaurant will donate 10% of sales for the evening to our relay and an additional $1.00 for every piece of cake sold(inquire about which cake)

15% of sales made between 6-8 on Friday will go back to the Relay For Life of Smithfield!

Foxwoods Fundraiser - Saturday June 1st, 2013

Join Shooting Stars to benefit the american cancer society on abus trip to foxwoods on Saturday June 1st, 2013. We will meet in woonsocket at the Marchegiano Club 96 St. Louis Ave. The bus leaves at noon and we will return back by 8:00pm. It is $25 per person.
You will recieve a voucher for the buffet or $10 towards one of the restaurants. There will be time to eat, shop, gamble and what ever else you may want to do while you are there. We will have a blast together and you don't want to miss out!

Come on out and join us!!!! Just ask any member of the relay team for a ticket.
We have room for 55 people so get your tickets before they sell out.

Kiwi Burst Fundraiser to Benefit The American Cancer Society! - June 13th, 2013

THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
