UPCOMING EVENTS/IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

Tuesday May 21, 2013: Committee (6pm)/Team Captain Meeting (7pm) at Masuk HS's media room
This will be the last regular meeting before the Relay so come and ask questions, get information and all youth forms will be given out at this time.  So if you have any youth on your team, it is imperative that you come to this meeting to get the mandatory forms!

Tuesday June 4, 2013: T-Shirt Night at the Newtown Savings Bank on Route 111 in Monroe.
Teams will be emailed their time slots to come pick up t-shirts, hand in money, youth forms and pick their campsites so please look for an email closer to this date.  If the youth forms are not completed, no youth (under 18) on your team can stay past 11pm the night of Relay.

Wednesday June 5, 2013: Trumbull High School field walk through at 5pm
This is an optional walk through for any teams interested in seeing the set up and where their campsite will be for the Relay prior to the event on Friday.

Friday June 7, 2013: RELAY FOR LIFE OF MONROE/TRUMBULL!! 
Set up for the event begins at 3:30pm and Kick off will start at 6:00pm.

Wednesday June 12, 2013: Relay Wrap-Up Meeting location TBD

THIS YEAR, selected Relay event(s) in our community are offering the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
