We talked about "Neon" being popular and it led to a discussion about the American Cancer Society's 100th Birthday in May of this year. The call to action is "Finish The Fight!" So we are combining the two ideas. See what you miss when you don't come to the monthly meetings? You can decorate your campsite with bright, neon colors, dress in neon costumes and use your creativity to bring the theme into all parts of our event this year. Join us for the next meeting to add your thoughts to how we can include the theme in event activities, ceremonies and decorations.

Knock Out CANCER - team: United Against Cancer

When:        Friday, May 17 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Why:          This is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life team “United Against Cancer.”

Where:       Patriot Boxing – Fitness, 2425 Curtiss St., Downers Grove

What:         Class starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. The one hour class will give you a sample of classes. Rotate through several activities.  Get your heart pumping. Good for any fitness level. After class, enjoy refreshments and giveaways to refuel and relax.

Cost:          $10 – pay at door. Cash or checks payable to the American Cancer Society.

Meyers Rd, Oakbrook Terrace IL 60181 or fax 630.932.1171) and our Division tech staff will do the data entry. Print this TEAM MEMBER REGISTRATION form to sign up your team members who don't have Internet access or skills.

Print this YOUTH PERMISSION FORM if your team is under age 18. Return before Relay Day (May 31) and secure one chaperone (over age 21) for every 10 students.

Relay For Life is volunteer run, so our event will only be as good a YOU make it. Please join us for team and planning meetings so your voice will be heard about the event theme, entertainment, food and ceremonies. Meet other Relayers, share fund raising ideas and stay up-to-date on all event information.
