2012 Bark For Life of Rose Tree Media Community Rose Tree Park April 15, 2012

The American Cancer Society Bark For LifeTM is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. By supporting Bark For Life, you help the American Cancer Society save lives, and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays. So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, and games.
BARK FOR LIFE
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Third Annual American Cancer Society Bark For Life held at Rose Tree Park. It started off cloudy, but ended up being a beautiful day as more than 150 canines walked a mile with their owners and raised more than $7,500 for cancer research, education and patient services. There were canine contests, demonstrations, entertainment, a DJ and much more for all to enjoy. Plans are already underway for next year's event. To be sure to receive information about our Bark For Life, send your name, phone number and e-mail address to Marsha Peterson at marshapeterson@yahoo.com.
Don't forget to enter your dog's picture for a chance to appear in next year's Bark For Life calendar. There is no cost to enter. Entry forms can be found on the Bark For Life website - www.relayforlife.org/barkpamedia. Calendars will be available in the fall. Entries must be received by July 1.
Visit our Bark For Life Facebook page - Bark For Life-Media - to see pictures from this year's event.
