Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website to find an enrollment location near you and for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
Send out the most emails from your Relay Participant Center. This challenge will last all month! There is a strong correlation between the numbers of email sent and how much money people raise online! So send, send, send those emails! The top emailer will win a bag of goodies on the day of the Relay.
June Challenge:
You are being challenged to raise $1000 in 10 days! This challenge is open to all Relay participants. The challenge will start on Sunday, June 3rd and end on Tuesday, June 12th. This money does not have to be raised entirely online, but must reach the ACS office by end of business on Tuesday, June 12th. The people that achieve this goal will be entered into a drawing to win a Relay goodie bag!
Ongoing Challenges:
Plan and hold the most financially successful onsite fundraiser at your Relay For Life event! So get creative and raise that money! The money earned during the onsite fundraiser will be credited toward your team total.
Raise that money and turn in the most money on Bank Night! We like counting money and like counting it even more on Bank Night! The top team who turns in the most money on Bank Night will get a goodie bag of treats to enjoy during the night of Relay.
Fundraising Ideas:
Scratch n' Give Cards
One great way to promote fundraising with our upcoming l events are Scratch n' Give Cards (available through Turnkey Promotions). Each card has 20 scratch off stars with an “ask” underneath. Simply ask someone to scratch a star and agree to the donation underneath. Get all dots scratched and raise $250. For example: Oak Creek High School (WI) is giving them out at Team captain meetings and asking that they bring the cards back completely scratched off. They issued a $1,000 team fundraising challenge and gave each team 4 Scratch n' Give cards to help them reach their goal. Teams that fundraise at least $1,000 will reach VIP status at their Relay.
