Come out to the 2012 Lakeland PigFest BBQ for a weekend of good eatin', good friends, and good tunes to benefit the American Cancer Society. Mosaic has 5 teams competing in the Backyard BBQ division: 3 Men & A Pig led by Kenny Carroll (Four Corners), Mosaic BBQ Kings led by Willie Lawrence (Four Corners), returning champions Hooker’s Prairie Porkers led by Sergio Collins, Team SFM led by Vern Crawford, and Bob’s Buddy’s led by Guy Harrell (New Wales). To kick off our Relay for Life efforts, all Mosaic teams will be selling delicious barbeque Friday night and Saturday. Please join us this weekend to celebrate life and eat for a cure!

BACK through research! THIS YEAR ONLY, our Relay event will offer the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. Please spread the word and visit the Cancer Prevention Study-3 website for more information about how to participate in research today for a cancer free tomorrow!
