Cure By Design is a premiere social event hosted by the American Cancer Society and supported by corporate sponsors throughout Central Virginia.  The monies raised through Cure By Design support cancer research, as well as free educational support programs and patient services.

Presented by
2013 CBD Richmond Haley Auto

Richmond's 8th Annual Cure By Design, developed and coordinated by New York designer Alex Garfield, brings the fashion, design and retail communities together with the local corporate community. The focus of this special evening is a fashion show that spotlights designer fashions and, more importantly, the local cancer survivors who model them. The survivor models demonstrate the daily progress being made in the fight against cancer, and portray a message of hope for a cure.

John Hardy Cuff

“Naga Gold and Silver Lava” Bold Kick Cuff in Sterling Silver and 18k Gold with black sapphire by John Hardy.

You’ll have a chance to truly celebrate with us in style when you receive this stunning cuff, valued at $2,195.00, in an opportunity drawing at the night of the event! Introduced in 2008 as the first figurative piece for John Hardy, the Naga collection brings to life the Balinese legend of the dragon, a revered mythological creature symbolizing prosperity and good luck.  The collection's pieces are rich with detail and gemstones, reflecting the origins of the inspiration.

This cuff was generously donated by Designer Sponsor and RVA’s own Schwarzschild Jewelers- the oldest luxury retail business in the city and a founding member of the Greater Richmond Retail Merchants Association.
