Paula Vincent 2012 Honorary Chair, Cure By Design Senior Vice President, Presbyterian Healthcare As a woman, there’s not much I enjoy more in life than fashion.  As a wife, mother, daughter and friend, there’s not much I fear more in life than a cancer diagnosis. If you’re like me, cancer has touched you in a very personal way. That’s why I am thrilled to serve as honorary chair for the American Cancer Society’s Cure By Design 2012 -  Charlotte’s inaugural event that brings world-renowned and local designers together with the retail community to support the fight against cancer. Please join me on Saturday, March 24, at the Urban Garden, Ritz Carlton for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate cancer survivors of all ages and stages modeling the latest fashions. Enjoy a cocktail reception and bid on irresistible items donated by the community for both the silent and live auctions.  Every single dollar raised goes toward the American Cancer Society’s free patient services, research, education and advocacy programs. I can’t tell you how excited I am about Cure By Design! I have no doubt Charlotte will rise to the occasion to raise the funds needed for life-saving research and life-changing support programs.  After all, our friends, spouses, children and parents all deserve to celebrate a world with less cancer and more birthdays!
