Dedicate a Luminaria		Survivor Information and Registration
	The Luminaria Ceremony is the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. This is one of the most moving parts of the event that you will not want to miss. Honor or remember someone at Relay For Life with a luminaria. Learn More		Survivors are the reason we Relay. Survivors make up a group of nearly 11 million strong who are finding their way through the cancer experience and fighting back against the disease. Welcome to Elgin's Relay for Life 2010 Website!

Upcoming Meetings for Relay for Life of Elgin!!!

Thanks to Principle David Bell, we are going to have our meetings at the Elgin Middle School cafeteria. Meetings will start at 6:30pm.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the first full meeting on Thursday November 12^th.

All Committee Members, Team Captains, Volunteers, anyone wanting to join the Cruise for a Cure in 2010 should attend!!

Team Captains need to send an alternate if they are unable to attend, and chairs need to send co-chairs or committee members as well.

Elgin Relay Committee University will be held Monday, November 16^th. All Chairs, Co-chairs and committee members should plan to attend. You can also attend if you want to join a committee!

Committee chairs please send me a check list and/or details for your committee responsibilities and any other documentation you have.

Relay for Life University (details TBA)

This year is already heading off to a great start! Many teams are already starting early with their fundraising. If you are not already signed up as a team, you can do so here on this website.

We had Relay for Life Kick Off September 19th and handed out team packets, luminaria, and advocacy information. There was also entertainment and food for all to enjoy. If you missed this event, there will be opportunities to get team packets scheduled at a later date.

The Theme this year is Cruisin' for a Cure! (nautical theme) So start get those wheels a turnin' on what your team theme will be.

There are still some openings for Committee Members. Being on the Committee is just another way for you to help out with the Relay and show your support for finding a cure.

So sign up your team, pick a theme, join the committee, and start Relaying!!!!!!
