	The Luminaria Ceremony is the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. This is one of the most moving parts of the event that you will not want to miss. Honor or remember someone at Relay For Life with a luminaria. Learn More		Survivors are the reason we Relay. Denton Relay for Life

Welcome!

Thank you for being a part of the Relay For Life of Denton. This is our 15^th anniversary to be in Denton and we are pulling out all the stops this year! We may be going to an overnight event but I don’t think you will be disappointed. We will have lots of new entertainment and activities to celebrate this special occasion and we hope you will join us.

I’m excited to be your Relay For Life Event Chair for 2010! I lost both of my parents to cancer and the Relay is my way of celebrating their lives, remembering them and fighting back against this disease that took them away much too early. We’ve all been touched by cancer in some way and I encourage you to use this special day to celebrate at the Survivor Ceremony or Remember your loved one at the Luminaria Ceremony and to Fight Back against cancer at our Fight Back Ceremony.

Our goal this year is to raise $135,000.00 and with a community like Denton, I know we can do it. I personally want to invite you to start your own Relay For Life team and if you are a survivor, please register so we can honor you. If you are unable to form a team this year, please come out and visit us at the UNT Fouts Field on Saturday, April 17^th to celebrate our 15 years in Denton. See you at the Relay!

SPECIAL NOTICE:

We will be holding the event rain or shine! If you don't want to put up a campsite, we will still like to see you there walking. We will be there collecting money and our concession stand will be open. Luminaria sales on the website will be shut-off at 2:00 pm Friday, April 16th.
