We are sure you know how involved we are with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and the many ways cancer has touched the lives of our family and friends. We are thankful for the cures that have made cancer survivors of my Mom, my Grandmother, Charlotte, Phyllis, Emily and so many of our dear friends. We stand strong along so many other friends who have been undergoing cancer treatments and are praying every day for their recovery … Charlene, Karen, Phil B., Susan, Judy. Lizzie, Debra and our little buddy Vinnie. And we remain heartbroken over others we cared about so deeply who lost their fight with cancer because the cure wasn’t there for them; Aunt Janet, Charlie, Carole, David, Emily M. and Betty. We are ready for a cure and want a cure before any more of us hear the words “You’ve got cancer.” Please consider making a donation to the cause! $5 is a great place to start, because every bit helps. Mark your calendar for the first weekend in May and be sure to stop by to say to us at the Team Dearborn camp site. |
