	The Luminaria Ceremony is the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. This is one of the most moving parts of the event that you will not want to miss. Honor or remember someone at Relay For Life with a luminaria. Learn More		Survivors are the reason we Relay. ** 2010 CPS-3 Study at Relay For Life of Chenango County!!**

FIGHT BACK through research!

THIS YEAR ONLY, our Relay event will offer the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.

The 2010 Relay For Life of Chenango County theme is:

There are many different types of cancer that we're fighting against... this year, the Relay For Life of Chenango County will recognize those cancers by creating a rainbow of colors throughout the event. Teams are encouraged to decorate their campsites according to a certain color or colors that they would like represented. We're also asking teams to provide information at their site about the types of cancer they're representing - help us teach others! Please see the Team Captain's Information page on this website - which shows just some of the many colors associated with each cancer type.
