Thank you for participating in Relay For Life of Lodi. We invited our community to participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life event of Lodi. And you came in record numbers, walking 24 hours with passion and with purpose. You raised almost $160,000 that will go directly to support cancer patients and their families in our community, providing patient services, information and education, advocacy and research. On a personal level, we know that each and every one of you participated in Relay For Life for important reasons possibly on behalf of yourself or a mother, a son, a partner, friend or colleague, who may be battling or has battled the disease to fight cancer and to help save lives. Your commitment does not need to end here on the track. As an American Cancer Society volunteer, you can stay involved in the fight against cancer year-round by: Supporting cancer patients with free services such as transportation and information on clinical trials; Educating your community about cancer prevention and early detection; Raising awareness about our programs, services and research and; Advocating at the community level to make cancer a priority with elected officials. If you are interested in learning more about additional ways you can make a difference in the fight cancer in our community as an American Cancer Society volunteer, please contact Jenna Bernier at (209) 941-2679 for more information. On behalf of the American Cancer Society, we want to thank all of you who have chosen to fight back against cancer in our community. Your time and commitment are so very much appreciated.
The Luminaria Ceremony is the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. This is one of the most moving parts of the event that you will not want to miss. Honor or remember someone at Relay For Life with a luminaria. Learn More
