Dedicate a Luminaria Survivor Information and Registration

The Luminaria Ceremony is the opportunity for people to come together to remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those who have won their battle. This is one of the most moving parts of the event that you will not want to miss. Honor or remember someone at Relay For Life with a luminaria. Learn More

Survivors are the reason we Relay. Survivors make up a group of nearly 11 million strong who are finding their way through the cancer experience and fighting back against the disease. At Relay For Life, Survivors are our guests of honor. Learn More

Happy 10th Birthday, Relay For Life Campbell!

More Birthday You Tube

How fitting that last year, the American Cancer Society launched their "Official Sponsor of Birthday's" campaign. This year we are picking up the theme and celebrating the addition of our Relay's milestone birthday. Your efforts as a fundraiser and team captian directly help to save lives and create more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, finding cures, and fighting back against this disease. We hope you join us again for this year's celebration of Relay!

There are a few changes this year.

  • We have a new Event Chair, Jennifer Avery (campbellrelay@aol.com) and she is full of fresh ideas and a lot of enthusiasm! One of her goals this year is to bring new life to our Relay!
  • The website is up early!: http://relayforlife.org/campbellca. There are some new features to the website like individual blogs and the ability to add Relay to your Facebook page. I'll be happy to walk anyone through the new features and help you in any way.
  • There is a new registration pricing set up. Last year, we waved the majority of team fees and it cost us dearly on our overhead budget and funding. This year they are trying a new registration concept of low team fees and a small individual registration cost. This should balance small and large team costs. There is a free Early Bird period to sign up!

  • I know that some folks will say "Sign up already? But how can we commit to it being that far away?" Well, the trick is it costs you nothing to sign up or to ask your team mates to sign up now. If it comes down to not being able to attend. They can be 'virtual' team/team members. There are a lot of benefits to signing up early. They'll stay abreast of what is going on with Relay and help get the word out to their friends and family. They'll have more time to met their commitment to raising the minimum $100.00 towards cancer research, education, and support. After all, if they spread it out over the 9 months to Relay, that is $11.11 to raise each month.
