Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a 5K (3.2 mile) walk that unite communities behind the American Cancer Society's efforts to save lives from breast cancer. Making Strides of Chicago reflects its own community, here's what you can expect at our event:
Travel and Transportation:
Spot Hero App: Get discounted parking using the Spot Hero App and our code: NOMORECANCER. Spot Hero will also donate $1 to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Field: $20 parking is available at Waldron-Soldier Field. We have special
parking for buses. Email us if you have a team bus. Soldier Field has parking available on a first-come, first-served
basis. The Waldron Parking Deck is located at 600 E Waldron Dr., Chicago,
CTA: Take the CTA Red, Orange, or Green line to
the Roosevelt stop.
Bus: Walk west from the Roosevelt stop and take
the Roosevelt and State Bus #146 to Soldier Field/Field Museum stop. Walk south
to Soldier Field, Stadium Green.
Walking: Walk east from the Roosevelt stop approximately 1.2 miles to Soldier Field, Stadium Green.

Come together with survivors, caregivers, men and women from all walks of life who are passionate about saving lives from breast cancer. Celebrate your shared efforts. Inspire each other to carry on. And take comfort in the knowledge that because of your dedication, no one walks alone.
Pacesetters and Survivors will begin to lead the walk, kicked off by our friends at ABC 7. Be sure that your team is ready to go at least 15 minutes before your designated start time.

For Survivors And Caregivers
Survivors, check in when you arrive at the walk. Please fill out a paper registration form or sign up online.
Hosted by Zeta Tau Alpha, the survivor area is a special area for survivors. Enjoy breakfast, goody bags, a survivor sash, and a survivor activity in this tent. You will also find important information about American Cancer Society programs and services geared specifically for you.
Rush University Health presents the 2017 Caregiver Tent. Complete with a photobooth and other goodies, we wish to create a fun enviroment for all caregivers and families that are in attendance.

After The Walk
We all walk together, but our event is not a race. Stop whenever you want or need to. You absolutely do not need to complete the entire walk if you are unable. Upon finishing the walk, please join us for entertainment and water. The walk concludes when the final walker crosses the finish line.
