Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer
August 2 - August 8, 2015 I All the details
ONLINE STORE is now open - will CLOSE on May 18 at noon.
On August 2, 2015 over 60 cyclists will begin pedaling from Syracuse, New York around the Finger Lakes then down to Palmerton, Pennsylvania. We'll ride over 500 miles to support the American Cancer Society and Dream Come True (a local organization that provides dreams for critically ill children). Our goal is to raise $215,000 to support these organizations.
The Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer has been fighting cancer since 1983 raising 1.4 million dollars to aid in the battle. We are looking for 65 dedicated riders to join our cause.
At PPRAC your energy and generosity make a real difference for people fighting cancer through the local programs in our community that benefit from the event’s success. With your sponsorship, and the fund-raising efforts of our participants, we are making a difference in the fight against cancer.
We look forward to riding and fighting cancer with you!
There will be a butterfly release at the start of the PPRAC ride on August 2nd to honor loved ones who are battling cancer or have lost their battle. Use the link below to remember or honor a loved one who has, or is battling cancer, with a butterfly ($20 donation) to be released.
On The Wings Of Hope Use this link to honoring a loved one.
If anyone desires a wish to come true,
they must capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it.
Since butterflies make no sound,
They can’t tell that wish to anyone but the Great Spirit.
So by making the wish and releasing the butterfly,
It will be taken to the heavens and be granted.
