$295 raised $500 goal
My Reason to Relay
In the winter of 2007, I lost my father in law to stomach cancer, 5 days after his 60th birthday. He was one of the most amazing people I've ever had the priveledge of knowing, and I was honored to be able to call him my father in law, and my friend. This is in honor of a great father, husband, brother, uncle, father-in-law and friend.... this is for you, Mr. B.
For anyone who doesn't know, my wife, Amy, was the one who came up with the team name "Rambo's Relayers". Mr. Battenfield was referred to as "Rambo", because he would often do yard work while wearing a tank top and bandana around his head.
For the past 7 years, Rambo's Relayers has been the top fundraising team in Whitehall, raising a total of over $50,000. It has been such a great way to honor Mr. Battenfield's memory, and we would love to raise even more in his name this year. Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. And please know that every cent raised for the American Cancer Society goes direction toward Cancer research. Thank you so much.
Thank you to my supporters!
