In honor of my mom and in memory of Sean & my grandma. <3

Cancer is a disease that has unfortunately touched virtually every person's life in one way or another. By raising money for the American Cancer Society I hope that we can all be a part of finding a cure for this horrible disease. Please help me in reaching my personal goal of $3,500!

Why?

Cancer has affected my life in many ways. My mother is a survivor of cervical cancer. My grandma, who was like a mother to me, passed away December 2008 from colon cancer. My grandma's sister passed away from bone cancer. A great friend passed away from cancer. There are so many people and reasons why it's important to support cancer research. Thank you so much for your support!

EVERY dollar counts. Any amount that you can afford to give, $1, $5... anything, will bring us that much closer to our goal. If every person who looked at this site gave $5, imagine how much money we'd have!! Unfortunately, the American Cancer Society website requires a donation of $10 or more in order to use your credit card. This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Today, there is more hope than ever for people facing cancer. However, there is much work to be done. I hope you will support me in my effort by joining my team or making a donation to help me reach my goal.
