David said that his dream venue was to perform "at the new center in KC." Witnessing his dream come true...priceless.

And for the entire fanbase to have reached their $26,000 fundraising goal *while* the tour was in David's hometown, well, that just leaves us....speechless.

Triple-Dog-Dare-Ya Charity Challenge

It all started with a silly comment from one of those OK boys, and the charity chix tell me it soon snowballed into a full-blown war ("groupie" Tshirts, anyone?) and then into an all-out charity challenge to benefit the hometown team.

Three CRAZY (and when I say crazy, I mean crazy) challenges were issued, some by the chix and most by David's friend. The challenges all involved that "I AM a groupie shirt" and all involved our favorite rocker.

Well, ONE OF THE CHALLENGES WAS MET Saturday night, August 31 in Kansas City. We have photographic evidence, and you'll *want* to see this. It's ridiculous! (David knew that the photo op he was asked for was for a significant donation to the Cook Fans Conquering Cancer effort and his hometown KC team in particular.)

So, who's in? Who wants to see this unbelievable moment caught on camera? (David is so funny and so great to play along.)

Wanna see the pix?

Here's how it's going to work. For every $20 raised, we will reveal another section of the photo, saving the best for last.

This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "You have cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Today, there is more hope than ever for people facing cancer. However, there is much work to be done. I hope you will support me in my effort by joining my team or making a donation to help me reach my goal.
