My Reason to Relay

My mom, Cathy Graham, is a breast cancer survivor.  She will have been cancer free for six years in February 2010.

I Relay because I want to see an end to cancer during my lifetime. Relay gives me the opportunity to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission by fighting back against a disease that has already taken too much.

I am on my church team at New Hope UMC.  Our goal this year is to raise $6,000.  Last year our team raised a little over $5,000!!  We are also selling luminaries ($10 each), honor signs ($30 each), and memory signs ($30 each), and business sponsorship signs ($100).  If you would like to purchase any of the above, please let me know.  This year, I am also on the Team Recruitment, Retention, and Development Committee for Relay for Life of Newberry.
