My Reason to Relay

I relay because I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast and bone cancer.  I was diagnosed January 19, 2003. The doctors did not expect me to make it this far, and to tell you the truth I did not think I would make it this far.  The first time I had chemotherapy was April 2007 until September 2007. I had another round starting in January 2009 and I finished up on July 31, 2009. I am lucky enough to have family members who are always willing to take a day off and drive me to all my appointments and sit through 4 to 6 hours of chemo with me.   This has been the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life, but I will keep on fighting. Your donation big or small will help the Cancer Society keep fighting for a cure.
