My Reason to Relay

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just an event to me. It is my personal opportunity to help save lives from cancer by supporting the American Cancer Society.

It's amazing to think that millions of people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Somebody close to us may be one of them.

By taking part in Relay, I am helping the American Cancer Society save lives  by helping to educate people on the steps to prevent cancer and detecting it early when it's most treatable. Also, I am helping the American Cancer Society to find a cure by the funding and research that it takes to help us understand the causes of cancer, determine how best to prevent it and discover new ways to cure it. 

Please support my efforts by making a donation or purchasing a luminaria in honor of or in memory of someone you love that has either had cancer or going through it today. If you aren't familiar with the luminaria lighting, you are missing one of the most powerful, moving events that one can ever imagine.And, I know that together,  we have the power to help create a world where cancer can no longer claim another year of anyone’s life.
