I Relay For Nanny , Aunt Sarah and a cure for all

I Relay for my mother Kathryn, and my sister in law Sarah. They are two of the strongest people I have ever known to fight with every ounce of their soul and never loose their smile. They have tought me what it meant to give of ones self until the end. Sarah is gone 22yrs now and Mom is gone 5. It never gets easier only a bit more tolerable and knowing that now I have to fight to help bring an end to this.

I Relay because I want to see an end to cancer during my lifetime. Relay gives me the unique opportunity to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission by fighting back against a disease that has already taken too much. I  work everyday on N3S and see the devastation that this horrible disease can bring to a family especially the young ones in a family. I will always remeber something that my mother said to me in the wee hours on the morning of her death when we were alone. She said "always remember when God shuts the door he opens the window and sometimes it may be a small window but if you keep working at it it will open bigger and you can get through it." Lets work together to end this cycle!!!!!
