My Reason to Relay

Last year was my first year experiencing Relay for Life and it was one of the most enriching things I've done. I signed up expecting just a good time with friends and it turned out to be so much more. This year as the returning captain for the Hope Hippies I want to earn more money than last year.

I Relay not only because I want to help others than myself and see an end to cancer but to be with some of the most giving people on Earth. Relay gives me the unique opportunity to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission by fighting back against a disease that has already taken too much.
