Welcome to the personal page of:
Paul Thabault
Why am doing this and why do I ask for your help? Recently I joined the staff of Hope Lodge in Burlington, VT. Hope Lodge is a beautiful new 16 room Inn next to Fletcher Allen Hospital and is free for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation or cancer surgery. Each day I meet wonderful, brave people who are battling cancer. A few years ago I lost a dear friend and work mate to Multiple Myeloma. Warren Cadwallader-Staub fought hard and valiently. His incisive intelligence was focused towards understanding and overcoming the disease. When he knew he couldn't conquer it he relied on his faith and his absolute love for his family and friends to support him. When he died his gentle and thoughtful spirit remained as his legacy. My mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law are survivors of breast cancer. I saw them battle and rejoiced when they won. My wife's dear friend Kathy Brigham fought long and hard to conquer her cancer but after many years of spirited, and relentless battling she succumbed. Her smile, her energy and her optimism are the memories she bequeathed to us. Each and every one of us has a similiar story..... the loss of loved ones to cancer.
Please support my efforts to fight back against cancer by making a donation or joining Amigos de Pablo, my Relay For Life® team.
Your efforts will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information, advocate for all people to have access to screening and treatment, and offer free programs and services to improve the quality of life for people facing cancer. By being a part of Relay, we are joining a worldwide movement to help defeat cancer for future generations.
