My Reason to Relay
My first Relay was 2009, and I'll admit I was talked into it by a close friend. I thought, "Sure, what the heck, I'm not doing anything else...."
During the Relay itself, I spent a lot of time on the track during the 25-hour event. It sure gave me lots of time to think. My Dad had passed away earlier the same year after his lengthy battle with cancer. I realized I was driven by his memory.
I Relay so someday, there is no Relay.
