My Reason to Relay

Relay gives me the opportunity to honor the lives of those who have battled cancer and to remember the loved ones we've lost - most especially my dad, Richard Hardin, my mother-in-law, Dorothy Buckner and my cousin Donna Root who courageously fought the fight for 10 years.  We all have so many friends and relatives who are still fighting the many forms of this disease and they need any kind of support that we can provide.  Relay for Life supports the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission by fighting back against a disease that has already taken too much.

Your efforts will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information, advocate for all people to have access to screening and treatment, and offer free programs and services to improve the quality of life for people facing cancer.
