Some of my reasons for doing the Relay For Life

I Relay because I want to join people around the world in celebrating those who have survived cancer, remembering the people we've lost, and fighting back by supporting the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society.

I have never heard anyone say that they haven't had a relative or close friend fight this disease. Like many others I have had relatives and close friends wage this war. Participating in the Relay For Life is my way of trying to help and remember those who are doing their time, will do their time, have done their time and are past their time. I definitely suggest that if you haven't witnessed the Relay For Life survivor and caregiver laps, you do so. It is very emotional (yes even the toughest grown men do cry)!
