Hello again friends...

This is my 10th year participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. I continue to walk for my girlfriend's team *Rhonda's Renegades*, raising money to help in the fight against cancer. See that tattoo? I am 1 of 24 (to date) who have pink ribbons supporting Rhonda in her fight against breast cancer.

Rhonda Update: 8/13/09
Rhonda's MRI results from Wednesday are ALL GOOD!! They believe the Gamma Knife procedures really worked this time and that all the tumors in her brain are dying or dead. Going to keep an eye on 1 of them, but it's ALL GOOD NEWS and we were SO CELEBRATING last night.

We are keeping the faith & our spirits high. This is just a bump in the road. Rhonda WILL beat this monster of a disease. I have no doubts. :)

While the loss of my father-in-law, Jim, continues to be foremost in my mind when I walk the track each year, our family is doing excellent: Scott's Mom and my Mom remain cancer free. My Dad is still working hard on his stroke recovery with therapy. Scott has been cancer free for 4 years and I'm at my 20 year mark!!

As a refresher: This is a 24 hour relay, where at least one team member is on the track for the entire 24 hour period. WE are committed to walking. I am asking YOU to commit the funds.
