Dear Family and Friends,

In October, I will be taking action against cancer, by participating in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event.  By participating, I am honoring cancer survivors, paying tribute to the lives we have lost to the disease, and raising money to FIGHT IT!!

This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words"You have cancer," and there is a good chance that it will be someone you know, and love.

As some of you know, I formed a team for the Relay in 2006, in support of my best friend, who was diagnosed with lung cancer.  She lost her battle 1 week before the Relay event.  In 2007, my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, and had a masectomy, and fortunately is a survivor. We all have been touched by cancer in someway...and we all have the power to make a difference. 

Please help support me and my team, in this important cause by making a donation, of any amount...even $1 toward the cause will help. Or you can purchase a luminaria to be displayed at the Relay, and light up the track, for $10.00. You can honor a cancer survivor by placing their name under "In Honor of" or you can remember someone who has lost their battle, by placing the name under "In Memory of."  Each individual's name will appear on the luminaria, and each will be lit at the ceremony to shine as a beacon of hope for others.

The Lake Elsinore Relay for Life is an overnight event, held at the Canyon Lake Middle School, on Oct. 10-11, in which team members will walk for 24 hours around the school track in remembrance of those who have had cancer. Come join us at the event, there will be many activities, and food for sale.
