Wildcats Against Cancer

Welcome to Wildcats Against Cancer's Relay Team!

We have been a Relay Team since 2008, when West Ranch student Carly Farah started this club in honor or her dad. We are continuing her legacy by puting our money, efforts and compassion in action. Everyone hates cancer, and almost everyone has been touched by it in someway. Well, we don't just say we hate cancer, we act! All year long we raise funds through classroom competitions, awareness events, popcorn sales, bake sales, etc. etc. We also volunteer at many cancer awareness events through the year, and every month we learn about a specific cancer. We also do our best to reach out to families that are in struggling with a cancer diagnosis.

We just don't SAY we hate cancer, we are DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Please make a team donation, or select a member and donate on his or her page - help us reach our goal. Our first-step goal is $5,000, but we'd love to hit $7,500, making us a Platinum Team! Think of all the good your donation can make. Give up a dinner out, or some little item you think you must have - and put that money toward changing someone's future.

Thank you for your support!

When Communities Come Together

The money raised through Relay For Life events helps realize the American Cancer Society's mission to save lives, celebrate life, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

Donations are used to fund life-saving cancer research, patient support services, prevention and education information, and detection and treatment programs. Here's how the money raised last year is helping make a difference.

$406 million

Funding potentially life-saving cancer research grants.

1.2+ million

Calls and chats from patients/caregivers seeking info and support.

456 thousand

Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge®.
