Hokie Cousins Crushing Cancer

We’re Teaming Up For Relay For Life

Who do you know that’s been diagnosed with cancer? Maybe it’s a friend, classmate, teacher, or parent. What would you do to help them? This disease affects all of us, and we want to stop it. That’s why we’ve come together to fundraise for the American Cancer Society at a Relay For Life event.

Although supporting the fight has been close to our hearts for years over the past few years cancer has hit much closer to home. Cancer has attacked several members of our Team or members of their immediate family. Two years ago it attacked my cousin Chaz Heron (stage 4 cancer) and 6 months ago I (Steve Comber) was also diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

Unfortunately the more I learn about cancer the more I realize it is all around us and new research and discoveries through clinical trials is more important than ever. Many great strides have been made but WE must help the cancer community finish the race to finding cures for ALL cancers.

So as long as the good Lord provides me the opportunity to make a difference for anyone battling cancer or associated with finding a cure I plan to do just that ! AND Team: Hokie Cousins Crushing Cancer needs your help.

Please take time today to sign up to walk or jog with the Team on April 21st as part of the Virginia Tech Relay for Life in Blacksburg, VA.

If you are unable to attend to walk or jog we would love to have you there to cheer members of the Team on or would be extremely grateful for any donation you are able to contribute

Together, we can help make a difference.
