Relay For Life of Berkshire County Central South

Scouting for a Cure

How We Relay

Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. On the day of the event, Troop 1 is honored to be the Color Guard leading the Survivors as they open the Relay with the first lap of the track. We will honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others by Saluting the Survivors as they walk past our troop. It is as inspiring to the survivors as it is to our boys.

Together, we’ll be a part of making a difference in this important cause. Troop 1 has had the honor of being part of the Berkshire County Central/South Relay for Life since 2010.

Donations are used to fund life-saving cancer research, patient support services, prevention and education information, and detection and treatment programs. Here's how the money raised last year is helping make a difference.

$406 million

Funding potentially life-saving cancer research grants.

1.2+ million

Calls and chats from patients/caregivers seeking info and support.

456 thousand

Nights of free lodging provided to patients at Hope Lodge®.
