Relay For Life of O'Fallon

Throwing a pie in the face of a manager
Throwing a pie in the face of a manager

Menasha MVP's

Our employees at work raised money two different ways for the 2016 relay. We could throw a pie in the face of a manager/supervisor", which we had a great board to stand behind - a man in a purple tutu with the Relay for Life logo on it. This was a lot of fun for all that participated, although the managers and supervisors smelled liked soured milk the rest of the day.

We also sold a lot of the "feet", "cupcakes" and other designs. Workers either put their own names on them or the names of their loved ones that have been diagnosed with cancer. We lined the walkway in the plant with all of names. It was a really nice visual. Plus it was great seeing all the workers come together and support this wonderful cause.

We work for a really great company, Menasha Packaging, which supports us doing different community service projects. In addition to allowing us to do these fundraisers on work property, they also donated $1000 to Relay for Life and became one of the sponsors. Plus, they have already gotten us on the right path for the 2017 relay by donating $1000 again.
