Why We Formed a Relay For Life Fundraising Team

Welcome to our team page! Cancer has touched many of us in some way, so we decided to fight back by raising funds and walking in our local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event.

As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. At our Relay event, we will take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission.

Please join our team or make a donation. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, one dollar at a time.

Luminarias are a great way to make a donation and light up the track with a dedication to a loved one or friend in honor of or in memory of. Each bag is only a $10. donation and you can either decorate your own bags or a volunteer will do them for you.

Tribute torches are larger poster boards lite up by tiki torches that are a $100 donation. You will decorate those however you choose. They will be displayed along the fence at the end of the track. Those may be purchased by contacting me or any team member. My email is carn40@aol.com if you have questions.

It's easy to join our donate or get luminarias. Just click the button below and follow the prompts. Participation in a Relay For Life Event is a truly memorable experience that you will be very happy you choose to do. This is my 14 th year and going strong.

Thank you so very much.
