Summer Games Challenge:
Help us Go for the Gold!
The Summer Games Challenge is here…
will you help us pass the Torch of HOPE?
This week (August 1st -5th) all South Atlantic Division states have been challenged to pass the Torch of Hope and to represent a pillar of what the American Cancer Society stands for in each of our communities. We will receive the torch from North Carolina on Thursday (August 4th) in honor of Volunteerism and will have the entire day to recognize the hard work of the tens of thousands of volunteers in our state that advance our Mission and are engaged in Relay For Life.
We really want all of our North Carolina volunteers to Go for the Gold and to help us beat our goal of $5,500 in online donations raised on Thursday. Donations can be made to any person, team, or event involved in any event throughout the South Carolina area to be counted for this challenge. Each event will be awarded a medal for their fundraising efforts and will be recognized by the South Atlantic Division and leadership:
Bronze: events that raise over $500
Silver: events that raise over $1,500
Gold: events that raise over $3,000
You can follow the torch that will be passed down from Delaware to Georgia, and the entire challenge throughout the week onwww.facebook.com/sarelayforlife
