The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. With the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 500 lives a day. Please join us and take action against a disease that has taken too much!
Question of the week:
If someone wants to donate a gift card or sponsor the event, who do you give that to or contact?
We have letters you can give someone with our Tax ID number on it for gift card and etc. donations. If someone wants to sponsor our event we have a sponsorship packet we can send them. Janet Olson (firstname.lastname@example.org) is the registration chair so you can send her any potential sponsors and she'll happy to help however you need it. Also, the money from any sponsors you bring to the Relay goes towards your team's fundraising dollars.

We will not be having the raffle at Relay that we have had in previous years. Teresa Truesdell from the team Shaken Not Stirred and Nancy Willard from Team Division will will be hosting a raffle tent and you are welcome to participate if your team has items to raffle off. You can email Teresa at email@example.com for more information.
If you hold a raffle at your booth at Relay or at the raffle tent you are responsible to follow the Oregon State Raffle Laws. Click here for the Oregon Raffles Quick Guide For Volunteers which is provided by the American Cancer society. Please be sure to comply with all the requirements listed in the guide as the state does periodic audits to ensure that these regulations are followed. Karin Warren-Steele, who has organized the raffle in the past, has graciously offered to help anyone who has any questions in regards to the regulations that must be followed and the paperwork that must be filed if you have a raffle. Her email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fighters For Hope are selling the following items:
