Does your team have an upcoming fundraiser? Please email Katie.Degler@cancer.org with the details to get it added to our list below!
Knoebels Calendar fundraiser for May of 2016. They are $5. To purchase or for more information, contact Ceil Wesloskie at 570-672-9544 or stop in the Park Office or Lumber Yard.
Team Lightning, in conjunction with the Coal Twp. Pizza Hut, will be doing a fundraiser starting tomorrow, May 6th, and running until Relay on May 20th. They will donate 20% of your subtotal bill to Relay when you eat in, take out, or get delivery. I have attached a WORD document that needs to be presented with your bill. Eat up and thank you!
Some luminaria news: Luminarias can be purchased online until Friday, May 13. Please do not mail anything after May 6 so the form does not get lost in the mail. Remember, you will also be able to purchase luminarias at the start of Relay on the 20th as well. Contact Katie at email@example.com or Lynn at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
TWO important things concerning Luminarias:
1) If you want a picture to appear on the Luminaria slideshow, it must be emailed to Lynn by FRIDAY, MAY 13TH. This is important...EVEN IF YOU HAVE EMAILED A PICTURE TO US IN THE PAST, YOU MUST RESUBMIT A PICTURE BY MAY 13TH TO BE ON THIS YEAR’S SLIDESHOW. PICTURES SHOULD BE EMAILED TO email@example.com Questions – Contact Lynn at firstname.lastname@example.org or Katie at email@example.com
2) Thanks to Lynn, we have a great idea for Luminaria bags. Instead of the wooden blocks we’ve used in the past to weigh down the bags, we will be asking everyone to bring in a CANNED GOOD to hold the bags down and then we will donate the can to the local Food Cupboard. We are hitting two birds with one stone and will it be easier on the Luminaria Committee. Please consider bringing a few canned goods on the date of Relay. Good job, Lynn! Great idea!
