WAY TO GO RELAYERS!
We had a wonderful guest speaker and JROTC open our event:
We cheered our survivors on as they took the first lap:
We had fun at the dunking booths and car smash activities:
We had a talent show full of amazingly talented young people:
We raised $678 during our silent auction:
Unfortunately, due to a sudden lightning storm, we did miss out on an important part of Relay - the luminaria ceremony. If you would like to take part in a mini luminaria ceremony, please plan to attend our wrap-up meeting on June 4th at the L.E. Smoot Memorial Library. The meeting will begin at 6pm.
It really was a fantastic day out on the KGMS track! We are so proud of our teams and thankful of all our supporters. We are SO EXCITED for Relay 2016!
If you are interested in joining the Event Leadership Team and assisting in planning the next Relay, please reach out to the ACS Staff partner, Ashley Wilson at firstname.lastname@example.org, by July 31st.
