Relay For Life of Randolph County Kickoff has been moved from Nov. 15 to NOV. 23 from 1-4pm due to the CHS football playoff game. Please come out on 11/23/14 to cheer on our youth "torch runners" and join us for some super homemade chili after the run. Chili will be served from 2-4 @ St. John's Parrish Hall in Chester!
"FREE OF CHARGE"
A ceremonial torch run will start the day's festivities at 1 p.m. Youth from the community will carry a torch starting at the Chester Square Gazebo at the intersection of State and Opdyke Streets and their route will lead them to the Chester Municipal Building at 1330 Swanwick street. We are asking for friends, neighbors, cancer survivors, caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about Relay for Life to please line the route to cheer on the torch carriers. Everyone is invited to St. John Parrish Hall on High Street for free chili and refreshments from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the American Cancer Society's mission and about how to join or create a team, volunteer opportunities and caregiver activities. They will have the opportunity to win prizes and learn more about the activities planned for the 2015 Relay for Life. Free childcare will be available.
