In 1985, Relay For Life began with one man, Dr. Gordy Klatt, that had a mission to, "Keep up the Fight." He circled a track for 24 hours and raised $27,000. With much sadness, Dr. Gordy Klatt passed away on August 3, 2014. As we look into Relay 2015, let us come together to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back for Gordy and all people affected by cancer. Visit Gordy's Memorial page for more inspiration!!

RFL 30 Years Strong

American Cancer Society Relay For Life events serve as a powerful way for you to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer, from helping people facing the disease in your community to ensuring cancer is a thing of the past for future generations. The Relay For Life movement features campus/high school and community events that offer an opportunity to honor the cancer surivors in your life, promote how you can reduce your cancer risk, and raise money to help find a cure. Today, with the support of thousands of volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won't stop until we end cancer once and for all!

Sign Up as a Survivor or Caregiver

Relay For Life gives the opportunity to celebrate those who have had cancer and remember loved ones lost. You are considered a survivor from the moment of diagnosis, even if you are still undergoing treatment. Survivors are the very reason why we Relay.

Caregivers are those special people who have provided support or care for a cancer patient at any time during their cancer journey. Whether it be a meal, a ride to treatment or emotional support, Caregivers play an incredible role and we invite you to be a part of this life-changing event.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities
