HOPE

Hello Southshore Relayers,

We are writing to share an important message about the event this weekend!

Over the past two days we have been speaking with team captains about our plan regarding the rain this weekend. We are looking at a chance of rain this weekend. During my conversations with team captains, we spoke about the state of the football field when it rains… lots of puddle a BIG chance that we could cause major damage to the football field.

With partnership from East Bay High School, a decision has been made to move indoors. Although this decision was not easy to make, in doing so we protect the experience of Relayers who have invested time and fundraising efforts leading up to this very special community event.

Yes, we will be Relaying inside!!

Your team will have a campsite where they will sell food and decorate just as planned. The spirit of Relay is to celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and FIGHT BACK against cancer. We have not lost that spirit!!!

Our indoor event will start at 12pm and wrap up just after the Luminaria ceremony.

We look forward to seeing on “the track” and please reach out directly  to Mallory with any questions:
