Clear the Clutter!

As you may know, Golly McGinty is sponsoring a garage sale at her home this weekend, for the benefit of Sonoma Relay For Life.  What you may not know is that each team may bring items to sell to raise money for their own teams (sorry for the short notice), so if you have any interest in having your own table, please contact me at sonomadede56@att for more information, or contact Golly directly at c21golly@aol.com.

The address of the yard sale is 19090 Gehricke Road, Sonoma,

Saturday, June 27th & 28th  9-3pm

Even if you don't want to participate, stop by and shop and support our cause! Golly is going to have a 15 X 40 foot tent of just craft items.  A craft store went out of business and donated 5 truck loads of stuff . . . Quilting . . . Art . . . Yarn . . . Paper . . . Rubber Stamps . . . Ribbon . . . Sewing . . . Paint . . . .

On another note, if you are planning any fundraising events yourselves, please contact me and I will be sure to post them on the Sonoma Relay For Life Facebook page so the information reaches more people.

Do you have questions about what it means to be a Team Captain?  Are you unsure what kind of fundraiser to have before the event or even at the event?  Do you have someone who wants to make a donation but unsure what to do with it? Where to send it?  Do you know someone who is a cancer survivor and you want to honor them?  Then you are the right person to attend the

"Team Captain Workshop" taking place on Wednesday, June 17th @ 6pm at the Best Western-Krug Center.

We will have an open door workshop for Team Captains, team members, participants and survivors who have burning questions and want some support.

Make sure you come....this will be the best time to ask questions about the new starting time and date for the event and how this will work!!
